The Howler Haemanthus logo combines three symbols in the Red Rising Trilogy: A haemanthus, a wolf blooming from it, and a scythe weapon hidden in the wolf's eye. The haemanthus represents the protagonist, Darrow, and his origins as a red as well as his martyr wife, Eo. He infiltrates the elite gold and comes to lead a group called the Howlers who are known for their wolf cloaks and howling war cries. The scythe weapon has been Darrow's go to from his time as a red and well into his gold disguise where he is known as "Reaper." It becomes a symbol of the rebellion he leads.
